Only draft league captains should post in this thread. However there is information about free agency for people still trying to enter the league!
This will work kind of like waivers I guess.
Players may sign up for free agency, see the links below. When a person is on the free agency list a captain (C) may make a claim on them. If that captain is at the top of the waiver order then they automatically get that player. Otherwise every captain above them in the order has the right to make a counter-claim instead (within 24 hours), and take the player instead. Regardless, when you pick a player from free-agency you move to the bottom of the waiver order. These rules may vary slightly depending on how they are used, for example if it becomes necessary then picking up something like 3 free agents may keep you at the bottom even if a team later picks up 1. Other circumstances may cause you to be dropped to the bottom of the waiver order blah blah but I don't anticipate this will be a big issue.
Current Waiver Order (resuming from how the draft order would have continued, except that I am putting Nub Factory at the bottom because they had the #1 overall pick, and Thunder Crash above them because they had the #6 overall.)
1. Thunder Crash (2)
2. Underdogs (2)
3. The Regality (1)
4. Original Gangsters (4)
5. Opposite Day (2)
6. Nub Factory (4)
Please do not post here unless you are a (C) captain making a request to pick up a free agent. You may use the recruitment board if you think you're being ignored on the free agency list and captains can use the link below to see who the free agents are.BTW, rosters should be unlocked enough for captains to assign (C)s and (A)s now. It should go without saying but the Axe/Leave buttons will not work and even if they somehow did then those actions would be nullified anyway.
If you would like to pick up a free agent, make a post here, and specify the player name as it appears on the draft list or close enough so I know who the hell you're talking about. As before I will reserve the right to reveal aliases so let's just avoid wasting my time with any kind of nonsense of trying to trick people here, not that I would suspect any of you fine upstanding citizens to try it!
The other captains above you in the waiver order will then have 24 hours to make a counter-claim. If you are making a counter claim please quote the original post or otherwise make it obvious to me that it's a counter-claim.FINALLY, captains you can set your team's availabilities from the My Home interface, though you don't have that many options because yeah shouldn't care that much about starters vs everyone else you'll have. If there truly is a problem let me know. Also I may reopen up 11pm times and may have 8pm times. For any game that you need to move to another time in the same day just let me know with enough notice and get the other captain on board with it. Be reasonable etc.

Rules about multiple concurrent claims:
- I will allow you to have multiple active claims at once to prevent certain issues that would exist because there is no delay between when people sign up and when they can be claimed. Please be reasonable about this.
- If you have an active claim that you originated you may make an additional claim, but the counter-claim period on the next player will not start until the one on the previous player ends.
- If you have multiple claims active at once then your waiver order will resolve in the order that the claims clear.
- For example if you are at #2 and make two claims, on John Smith and Joe Public in that order--then there are 24 hours for John Smith to clear, and assuming you get him, you then would drop to #6 or whatever it would be, then 24 hours for Joe Public.
- Hope this makes enough sense! I'll do things as they make sense to me anyway... other exceptions may be imposed as they would make sense...
