With the launch of the RSHL and MSHL seasons I just want to remind everyone how serious of an offense doublesquadding is. For those not in the know, doublesquadding is when one player occupies more than one roster spot, regardless of whether it's on the same team or different teams. The minimum penalty for this is a one year ban from the zone entirely, but I have been known to ban for much longer as this is pretty much the worst thing you can do in the zone.
I'm currently meticulously going over every roster in both leagues and any doublesquadders will be removed from the zone. This is your one and only warning.

RSHL Season 15!
Season 15 will begin on Sunday, August 24th. Each team should review the Season 15 rules to ensure everyone is aware of the changes and additions from previous seasons.
Please also note, that baring any changes to the schedule, I'm planning on beginning Season 15 on-time. Therefore, 24hrs prior to the first game scheduled, teams should have their rosters finalized. Suspensions will become enforced for players switching teams effective 8:00 PM EST this upcoming Saturday, August 23rd. Players that are not currently on teams after this deadlines will not be suspended, but will be subject to the 6 game rule should they decide to switch teams after the deadline. I hope everyone reads and understands this carefully.
**EDIT** Due to the schedule most likely not being released until tomorrow, the start of the games have been pushed back until Monday, August 25th.
However -- Creasers and Breakaway have agreed to kickoff Season 15 on Sunday @ 9:00 PM EST therefore that match is officially set. Season 15 BEGINS -- SUNDAY, AUGUST 24th @ 9:00 PM EST CR @ BA

The game started up Pretty fast with a goal in 32 seconds. This is pretty much where this game went down hill with the first 8 Goals go to Backhand including and Own Goal commited by Jerry Rice.
Hmm managage to Pot in a 6 goals but there efforts where no near close enough to pull out the win. The game end in a 12-6. Good game teams And good luck on your push to becoming MSHL champions.

BA managed to tie the game halfway into the second period, breaking Zep's shutout (and heart). Succeeding to succesfully break Zeppelin-'s heart BA dominantly scored two more goals while shutting out BSK the entire 2nd period.
During the third period Zeppelin- finally left goalieship, but unfortunately another Pro (Judge69) was stuck between pipes. BSKMr.Clean managed to hit Minor Threat in the net causing a DC. This did not stop mighty BAGufando or BAAqualicy from scoring a goal each with only 3teamates. With the score 5-1 Zeppelin- finally warmed up (after playing goalieship 1st and 2nd period) and put 2 goals in net for BSK.

Some notes: Sim had a pretty good run as goaltender putting up some solid numbers. EXP was having lag issues (ie Trick- and Splenetic) but still managed to maintain their lead until 3rd period. DT had a SLIGHT, slight edge over EXP in puck carries and hold time especially in the midfield.

Nub's tactic strikes again
Nordiques 0
Nub Factor 1
Today Nordiques squared off against Nub Factor. Both teams have a lot of new players in their team, and playing your first league game ever is always a fun, if slightly nervous, event.
And the game certainly started in a nervous way. Both teams tried to get grips on the game, but this resulted in very slow play with especially the new players aiming their passes for just a second too long. Both teams lacked the speed in front of the goal to really pose a threat to the other team. Nordiques had an slightly aggressive style, with focus on getting the puck in the midfield and go straight back to offence. Nub Factor applied the infamous Nub tactics, which were quite successful in the beginning of last season. However, keeping two cr sitters back for the entire game did cost them on offence, and most shots were desperate shots of 1v1 situations.
After shaking the nerves in the first period, the pace got a bit faster, and this made for more entertaining play. ND kept up their dominance in midfield, with DiscoDuck showing he could handle both defence and midfield, giving finloss a fairly easy period. However, ND didn't capitalise as Nubs tactic showed strength and NFs defence didn't break. ND did get close a couple of times, especially with Agaguk, a player who certainly showed insight and steady aim, hitting the post twice.
In the third nothing much changed. NF kept relying on breakaways to score, while ND was looking for a gap in NFs defence. And while the crowd was hoping for a buzzer goal, it was not to be. So overtime it was! And what an overtime! Nubby took the puck from the faceoff, dodged three ND defenders, faked down, and shot the puck to the top, GOAL! What a way to end the game. It has to be said that despite being the non-euro team in this game, ND was sleeping on that goal. Still, preseason isn't about winning, its about learning. And both teams have plenty of material to learn from now. This experience will be good for many of the new players, and can be used to build upon in later games. ND is doing great in possession and should keep this up, but try to create more room by using speed on offence. NF cr sitting tactics worked this time, compliments to NFs defenders (yes, all 6 of you), but how will their counter attack tactics work against a non offensive/sleeping/rusty ;)/new team? I guess we'll see if these teams have found an answer in upcoming matches.

MSHL preseason time!
All teams that have applied have been added to CI and can start getting organized. The sooner the teams fill out the faster we can start preseason. As of this moment, there are 6 teams. However, MSHL will still be accepting applications, so hopefully we can get a few more. So if you’re seriously thinking about starting a team, contact me in game or send me a forum message.
Have fun applying for teams and recruiting the best! If all works smoothly, we can start preseason in 2 or 3 weeks.
UPDATE: Some teams have been added that do not have a sufficient roster yet. They were added to give them a chance to get organized. Every team has the opportunity to get 12 players together before Tuesday the 29th. All teams that do not have 12 players won't be allowed in the MSHL. If a new team applies, they will abide to the same rule. If all works out and teams are organized by the 29th, we can start preseason the week after that.
UPDATE 2: Could every captain forum message me with their team member for the BOD. The BOD will decide on matters concerning the league like structure, playoffs, ect ect.

Hmm defeats REPPOWARRIORS in a close preaseason game

|
1 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 3 |
| Reppowarriors | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 2 |
First period started off with Hmm playing tight and REPPOWARRIORS going all out. Hmm seemed focused on maintaining control over the ball and the pace of the game while REPPOWARRIORS had their sights only on scoring goals. This seemed to pay off in favor of RW as they went up 1-0 with a nice snipe by Hazecloud top of the net. Shortly after Hazecloud's goal, REPPOWARRIORS managed to hit Goalmachine in the cr with puck causing a dc. With goaljudges saying Red30 was the 1 in cr and no replay to confirm: Penalty went on Red30, who was having none of it. Just before the end of the first period Hmm found an opportunity, took it, and tied the game up 1-1.
Total shots taken: RW:8 HMM:2
Second period's gameplay consisted of Hmm making the transition towards a more offense style while REPPOWARRIORS continued to bombard opponent's net whenever they received the ball. REPPOWARRIORS' hammering technique gave them yet another goal setting the score to 2-1 by the end of the second period.
Total shots taken: RW:7 HMM:6
Third period consisted of Hmm's spread out cautious moving technique dominating the midfield while REPPOWARRIORS attempted to score goals by clusterfucking towards nme's net. 21 seconds into the third period leafy slips past crsitter and scores a goal bottom of the net. Imho the crsitter had that prox'd but ball refused to phase or attach self 2 crsitter. Somwhere in this period REPPOWARRIORS had a chance to end game before OT with empty net above Goalmachine(goalie), shooter missed n did not take advantage of this opportunity.
Total shots taken: RW:3 HMM:7
Fourth period Hmm won fourth period.

Period 1 saw a hat-trick from Doobie (Warbird) He magnificently had his ship weaving between defenders who had forgotten that they were supposed to kill him. Maddack got into the action early on by picking up a penalty for spawn killing.
Blueliners just needed to warm up, and period 2 saw them strike back reducing the score to 3-2.however late into the period cocain slotted one home for Breakaway increasing their lead again.
In period 3 Slartibartfast replaced Procyon in net, and even picked up a save in between dealing with a light in game interview! but not before Doobie scores his 4th goal!
Furry+> Slart, how do you feel about your teams performance today?
slartibart> personally i am sweating and shaking
slartibart> Doobie is a sexpot champion
slartibart> Maddack is the modern era bct (minus the lol :))
slartibart> If Doobie was in the score would be at least 4-2
slartibart> YET ANOTHER PREDICTION COMES TRUE
And about now Doobie creases a goal in..
Furry+> how happy would you be with a win today Slart?
slartibart> you gotta play one game at a time, gotta savor every moment. With that said, we're not gonna be happy with anything short of a championship, except for Iggy, who is in it for the love of the game.
Finally some real game action again as Hot Rodster BDC's Iggys Shot with 5:37 remaining and gets a 5 minute penalty! Breakaway managed 2 more goals and the game drew to an end.

Did somone say preseason?
I got the word from Blink to schedule two games for each team over the next two weeks. If you didn't even any avails yet, you were defaulted to the maximum. So I suggest you fix that ASAP. I am guessing depending on how these two weeks ago will depend on how much longer our preseason will be.
